Tough China is famous for being one of the birth places of
human civilization, it is also known for its rich Paleolithic history. The
discovery of Peking man at Zhoukoudian on the outskirts of Beijing confirmed
the existence of hominids older than Neanderthals, and brought international
research into the evolutionof man.
