Pamukkale, meaning “cotton castle” in Turkish.Travertine terrace formations at Pamukkale.It is 20 km away from valley in the town of Denizli and it  can be seen hills on the opposite side of the Denizli valley.The ancient city of Hierapolis  was built on top of white "castle". A total of about 2,700 m (8,860 ft) long, 600 meters (1.970 feet) wide and 160 meters high (525 feet).
